New business training venture launched

AN ENTREPRENEUR hoping to cash in on the end of Business Link West Midlands has launched a new business training venture.

Richard Shakespeare has now started a new company called Business Brain Training which aims to offer to information, advice and training to business people.

It is his second enterprise launch after struggling to find work following redundancy from credit provider Egg.

Advisory service Business Link, which was funded by Advantage West Midlands, is due to close in November.

He said: “It’s vital you find someone impartial who will sanity-check your idea and give you the essential skills and knowledge you need to give you the best possible chance of success.

“We won’t be afraid to tell the truth. Not everyone is suited to working for themselves and it’s frightening to see how people can burn through thousands of pounds in set-up costs before earning a penny.

“I know first hand just how daunting an experience it can be to be faced with redundancy, so I am delighted to be able to launch this unique new service, which is dedicated to helping people who are in the same position as I was last year.”
