Adlington starts work on £11m Stafford retirement scheme

Work starts on £11m Brooklands House

Independent living developer, Adlington, has begun work on a new £11m retirement development in Stafford.

The Brooklands House development, in Eccleshall Road, will consist of 55 one, two and three bedroom apartments, along with communal spaces, exclusively for the over 65s.

The facility will offer independent living with 24-hour on-site care plus a table-service restaurant, a spa, hairdressing salon, communal lounge and an activities and craft room.

The property company has said it will begin marketing the apartments in the spring.

Claire Reede, sales and marketing manager for Congleton-based Adlington, said: “We are very excited that work has now begun on our new site in Stafford. The development will provide stunning apartments in a beautiful location overlooking the beautiful Doxey Marshes.”
