A land remediation company is expanding to a larger site in the West Midlands after securing more work in the booming construction sector.

Remediation consultancy Dunton Environmental has agreed a deal on a one-acre site at Northgate, Aldridge. The site includes 10,000 sq ft of office space, which will be refurbished, and storage yards for plant and machinery.

The company is a market leader in the design and implementation of ground and water remediation solutions for land restoration, utilising technologies for contaminated soil and water treatment, together with waste management.

Its services have been in high demand in response to the escalating levels of activity in the construction industry.

Chartered surveyors Johnson Fellows was appointed by Dunton to help find a suitable site that met its requirements in a location north of Birmingham.

Charles Warrack, office agency partner at Johnson Fellows, said: “We were briefed to find an ideal location for Dunton Environmental to relocate to, which would provide suitable space for the size of the operation as it is now, but also for future growth too.

“The site in Aldridge is the perfect place for the company, due to it being centrally located and providing excellent transport links. This is an exciting period for the company, as it continues to grow and expand.”

Mark Fitzpatrick, of Burley Browne which acted for the vendor, said: “The property will offer Dunton Environmental a very visible HQ property at the heart of Aldridge and I hope this will enable Dunton to continue their business expansion.”
