Law firm reveals plans to double in size with move to new offices

Staff at the new offices of Thursfields in Solihull

Regional law firm Thursfields Solicitors is almost doubling the size of its Solihull office as part of its plan for growth.

The firm opened an office in Solihull 12 months ago but an increase in clients during that time warrants the extra capacity.

The Solihull team has moved into a 3,000 sq ft space at The Courtyard, Warwick Road, Solihull, close to its former premises in the town.

Crucially, the new office has a main road frontage and provides room for the firm to grow its current staff of 15 up to 30.

Headquartered in Worcestershire, Thursfields has extended into several new locations over the past five years and now has offices in Halesowen, Birmingham and Solihull as well as Worcestershire.

In total, Thursfields employs 140 people across the West Midlands.

Nick O’Hara, managing director, said the latest move was part of the firm’s plan to become the ‘go to’ local firm in Solihull and north Warwickshire.

“We have a solid core of high calibre lawyers already working in Solihull providing services to commercial and private clients,” he said.

“Our intention is to double the size of the office in the coming two years, and to that end, we will be announcing three significant appointments this summer.

“Solihull is a vibrant and thriving economy and we have further capacity to recruit additional corporate and commercial lawyers to enhance our offering in this vital part of the West Midlands.”
