Solihull development site hits the market

A “prime development opportunity” on the site of a former care home in Solihull has come to the market.

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council has appointed property advisor Cushman & Wakefield to sell the 1.4 acre site on Warwick Road in Olton.

Located three miles north of Solihull town centre and with frontage to the A41, the site was formerly home to council-owned Brookvale Care Home which was demolished in 2016 to leave a brownfield development site.

Joe Williams, associate in Cushman & Wakefield’s residential team said: “This is a prime development opportunity; the site is suitable for a variety of uses subject to planning, however we expect there to be strong interest from the residential sector.”

Cushman & Wakefield is inviting conditional offers by September 8.
