Worcester Foodie Festival
Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli will be headlining the Worcester Foodie Festival with cookery demonstrations on the main stage in Cathedral Square on Saturday. Novelli, tagged as “the nation’s favourite French chef”, is returning to the festival for a second year.

During the three-day festival, which has started today, 60 stalls are offering food and drink from local businesses and selected specialist producers, while there are food and drink matching sessions, demonstrations and workshops taking place.

Jamaica in the Square
Birmingham’s Victoria Square will be hosts to the second ever Jamaica in the Square event. Celebrating 55 years of Jamaican independence, the festival will see a wide range of acts take to the stage, films to enjoy, arts and crafts to get involved with and of course, lots of food and jerk chicken to try. Mad Science Children’s Activities
Ragley Hall in Warwickshire are hosting a day dedicated to fun science for the kids to enjoy on Saturday. Kids can get involved with creating foggy dry ice storms, can watch a foam factory at work, build bouncy balls, make magic mud and even alter sound waves, as well as much more. Caribbean Food Festival
FarGo Village in Coventry will become home to a Caribbean Food Festival on Saturday. The family day will have a bouncy castle and entertainment for the kids, as well as live music, alongside a whole host of Caribbean style food, with everything from jerk chicken to rice and peas to enjoy. Open Air Theatre: Alice in Wonderland
Aston Hall will be hosts to an open-air theatre on Sunday. Alice in Wonderland will take to the stage and families can head along to enjoy the event that will take place in the courtyard.
