Recruitment agency on course for record year

A West Midlands advertising agency has enjoyed major success since relocating to larger premises.

Coleshill-based Candidate Source is on course for the best year in its history.

The agency, which provides job board support to recruitment firms across the UK, has seen annual sales exceed £3.1m for the first time in seven years – a 15% increase on the previous 12 months.

The performance coincides with a £25,000 investment in the business, underpinned by its move to a 1,000 sq ft office at Chantry House, which has provided the firm with more desk space and a new dedicated meeting area.

Michelle Davies, managing director of Candidate Source, said: “The last twelve months have been fantastic for us as a business and we’ve seen no sign of our clients cutting or halting recruitment plans. If anything it has increased since the Brexit vote.

“We have continued to work with long-term clients Forces Recruitment Services, Kate & Co and Pertemps, whilst also adding new clients including First Future Recruitment and Lamb Personnel Solutions.”

Everything is pointing to continued growth over the next year, she added.

Candidate Source was set up by Ms Davies in 2010 after she spotted a gap in the marketplace for a resource that would provide job board support to recruitment firms across the UK.

In just seven years, the firm has built up a client base that spans all sectors, including professional services, creative, engineering and transport.

To further facilitate expansion, the firm has taken on two new account managers; one with significant experience of the recruitment sector.
