East Midlands law firm boss to step down

Andy Raynor

The boss of one of the largest law firms in the East Midlands is set to step down, according to reports in the Leicester Mercury.

Andy Raynor, chief executive, will leave Shakespeare Martineau, which has offices in Leicester and Nottingham, after a five year spell at the firm.

Before that he was chief executive of RSM Tenon.

Andrew Whitehead, senior partner at Shakespeare Martineau, told the Mercury Raynor will be leaving his post at the end of the year.

He added: “This change is simply reflective of natural tenure and gives us plenty of time to identify and appoint his successor whilst Andy continues to lead the business with his normal energy and enthusiasm to ensure we continue to make good progress.”
