Law firm Freeths has announced another year of continued growth with a recorded fee income of £78.9m, a 9.5% increase on last year.

Over the past year staff numbers have increased significantly across all 12 offices, going from 784 to 844.

In the Birmingham office there has been a 27% increase in staff numbers with a number of senior hires and the promotion of Ateeq Ahmed in the corporate team to partner.

Freeths have had a presence in the majority of the main cities across the UK for many years and recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in Birmingham.

Richard Beverley, managing partner of Freeths in Birmingham, said: “We are very proud that we have continued to grow organically and attract high calibre lawyers.

“The financial results are testament to the work our teams put in throughout the year and we recognise this wouldn’t be achievable without everyone’s valuable input, so all staff will be rewarded with a bonus payment amounting to 7% of salaries.”
