Traffic Alert: Severe delays on M6 due to earlier crash

There are long delays on the M6 southbound in Staffordshire / Cheshire due to an earlier crash between junctions 15 (A500, Stoke-On-Trent) and 14 (Stafford) within the roadworks involving several HGVs and a shed load of paper rolls.

All lanes have been re-opened however there is severe congestion in the area.

There is approx 16 miles of congestion on approach to the earlier incident which is expected to add around two hours onto normal journey times.
