Christmas comes early for decorations business with new HQ
The UK’s largest provider of bespoke Christmas decorations, which rose to prominence in the UK through the festive makeover of David and Victoria Beckham’s £7m mansion, has set up its regional headquarters in Aston.
The Christmas Decorators has taken a five-year lease of a 6,430 sq ft warehouse in Bracebridge Street, just outside Birmingham city centre.
The company, which was made famous for turning the homes of stars such as Charles Bronson, Goldie Hawn and Darryl Hannah into winter wonderlands, designs, sources and installs high-spec decorations for homes, retail and commercial premises.
The company’s Birmingham office boasts a client base including the likes of Birmingham Airport, Warwick Castle and Harrods, as well as a host of other celebrities and professional footballers.
The business was advised on the move by Emms Gilmore Liberson (EGL).
Commercial property specialist Philip Hunt, associate solicitor at EGL, said: “We’re very pleased to have assisted The Christmas Decorators with its relocation to new premises, after many months of careful planning. Founded in Aspen, Colorado, by British couple Nick and Sarah Bolton, The Christmas Decorators rose to prominence in the UK through the festive makeover of David and Victoria Beckham’s £7m mansion, with thousands of sparkling lights, human-sized toy soldiers and giant lollipops. Headquartered in Liverpool, it has 50 offices across the UK.
The company’s new Birmingham premises will allow The Christmas Decorators to consolidate several regional outlets into one central location. The expanding business will use the new warehouse to store a vast selection of items including handmade ribbons, garlands, baubles, floral pieces and lavish Christmas trees, with plans to convert part of the new facility into a showroom.
