Black Country communications business snapped up by North West firm

Stourbridge-based communications business Vision Corporate Services has been sold to Cheshire-based InTec Business Solutions.

Formed in 2007, Vision supplies phones and internet connectivity packages as well as IT support and consultancy to SME businesses from its Stourbridge head office, as well as a site in North Wales.

InTec has received a £4m loan from working capital firm Boost & Co, as well as investment from Maven Equity Finance and the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund earlier this month to enable it to scale up its network and fuel a recruitment drive to further strengthen the team.

InTec specialises in IT consultancy, focusing on the implementation of cloud solutions, Office365, IT support and CRM platforms.

Giulio Laise, founder and managing director of Vision Corporate Services, said: “Following close collaboration, Vision Corporate Services has partnered with InTec Business Solutions.

“InTec is building a network of telecoms partners, allowing it to expand its product and service portfolios, instantly transforming them from communications companies to full service technology solutions providers.”

Law firm Thursfield advised on the deal, its third in a month. Corporate director Philip Chapman and solicitor Shauna Halls advised Vision on its sale.

The deal comes on the back of Thursfields’ work advising Amvar in Cradley Heath on its sale to Dunstall Holdings Ltd, and the sale of Biocensus in Bath to RSK Group Ltd.

As well as celebrating its trio of deals, Thursfields has launched its seventh office in Halesowen in the Black Country.

Thursfields’ Philip Chapman said: “Established in 2007, Vision Corporate Services has quickly grown to become one of the UK’s leading business telecommunications suppliers. From its head office in Stourbridge, the business supports an expanding customer base of SMEs and larger corporates across the UK

“Becoming a partner of InTec will further strengthen its offering, allowing the business to expand its portfolio to include larger scale business optimisation solutions.”
