Business park fully let after seven deals

Northern Trust  has announced that its Navigation Point business park in Wednesbury is now fully occupied following seven new lettings this year.

Nationwide agreed a 10-year lease on a 9,500 sq ft unit for a new crash repair centre, while Core Access Rentals is the latest company to move into a 2,500 sq ft unit on the estate.

Lambert Smith Hampton acts as joint letting agents on the estate alongside Whittle Jones who manage the site on behalf of Northern Trust.

Daniel Rudd, in the LSH industrial agency team, said: “In just six months occupiers have been secured for all of the vacant units we were instructed to market on behalf of Northern Trust. That’s a fantastic result and one we’re proud of. It clearly demonstrates the huge demand there is in the market for high quality, modern industrial units in the right location.

“Nationwide has agreed a 10-year lease for unit 16, which will add to its chain of vehicle crash repair centres.”

Navigation Point totals 51,305 sq ft and provides 16 industrial / trade counter units in sizes ranging from 1,400 sq ft up to 9,500 sq ft.

Richard Suart, regional property manager at Whittle Jones Midlands, added: “A variety of units became available at Navigation Point when an occupier vacated five of the units. The estate provides modern workspace; coupled with the prominent location we were confident that we would be able to attract new businesses to the park. We are delighted to welcome the seven new companies to the portfolio which has resulted in the estate becoming fully occupied.”
