Sale of Bromsgrove warehouse ‘reflects high demand’

An industrial/warehouse unit in Bromsgrove has been sold, reflecting high demand for properties between 2,000 and 5,000 sq ft, agents on the deal said.

Charlie Green, commercial negotiator at GJS Dillon sold the 2,820 sq ft warehouse on Aston Fields Industrial Estate in Sugarbrook Road.

She said the size of the property falls within the Bromsgrove “sweet spot” of 2,000 to 5,000 sq ft.

Green said: “With Bromsgrove having the highest number of small to medium-sized businesses in the country, units of this size are in high demand.

“We have already sold and rented several units on this estate and we receive daily enquiries from applicants looking for this size of accommodation.”

Andrew Lewis, associate director at GJS Dillon, added: “We are working with local developers, landowners and local authorities to establish where more units of this size could be developed. Bromsgrove has exceptional regional and national connections, is affordable and has easy access to a skilled workforce. So we need to ensure that the pipeline of commercial space can meet levels of demand.”
