Bathroom specialist secures funding for new warehouse

A business specialising in the retail and manufacture of bespoke bathrooms has secured funding to purchase a new warehouse.

Bluewater Bathrooms, based in Shirley, has secured the funding to purchase the warehouse on Stratford Road.

The business, which was established in 2005, specialises in the design and installation of bathrooms.

Ajit Virdi, director of Bluewater Bathrooms said: “We are delighted to have been able to purchase our own warehouse which as well as offering additional storage, which also enable us to bring in house the manufacturing side of their business.”

Funding for the purchase of the site was provided by Barclays.

Felix Peter-Thomas, business manager at Barclays in Birmingham said: “Ajit and his team have steadily grown the business since its inception in 2005 and I am delighted to play a part in the next phase of the company’s development.”

The business employs 10 staff – a figure that is set to increase as the business continues to grow.
