Wolves owner buys Thomas Cook assets in £11m deal

Fosun, the Chinese owner of Wolves, has bought the brand and intellectual property assets of collapsed holiday firm Thomas Cook for £11m.

Fosun was in a group of lenders which tried to rescue Thomas Cook with a £900m funding package, but fell £200m short leaving passengers stranded across the world.

Fosun’s Tourism Group owns the Club Med brand. The FT says it would run the Thomas Cook brand as an online travel agent.
