New occupier sought for Birmingham warehouse

Commercial agents at Harris Lamb have been instructed to secure a new occupier for a Birmingham industrial estate after a warehouse became vacant at the site for the first time in years.

Harris Lamb has been instructed by the landlord, LaSalle Investment Management, to market the 16,587 sq ft warehouse on Hockley Industrial Estate, and Tom Morley of the business’ agency team said he was expecting fierce competition from potential tenants keen to sign a lease.

“Opportunities for industrial property in Birmingham are extremely rare, and with
demand for such warehouses in the Midlands being so high, we’re anticipating a lot of interest in Unit 4.

“The estate has been fully let for a number of years now, and the combination of its key central location off Pitsford Street, adjacent to the key Birmingham Middle Ring Road (A4540), and the benefits of a position on this well-managed, secure, gated business park, is going to attract a great deal of interest.”
