Property People: Colliers boosts investment property management team; Blackswan hires design manager

Colliers International’s Investment Property Management (IPM) team has recently welcomed two new starters.

Izura Ikram joined as an associate director from CBRE’s Portfolio Services team and George McCall joined as an assistant facilities manager, having moved over from Interserve.

Martyn Edwards, director of IPM in Birmingham, said: “It’s great to welcome two new members to our team. Izura’s vast experience of working for occupiers and before that local authorities means she brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. She understands exactly what occupiers need, a valuable skill complementing that of our customer experience team.”

Mark Jarrett, head of investment and property management, added: “Our property management business continues to expand and we are committed to recruiting team members who can bring new skills to making our clients’ assets great places which work. The addition of Izura and George brings a real boost in the services we provide.”

Jewellery Quarter-based mixed-use property developer Blackswan Property has has added to its team.

Formerly a chartered architect at Coventry-based IDP and global design firm Gensler, Martin Prince-Parrott has joined the Blackswan team as a design manager.
