A former project director at Paradise Birmingham has joined fast-growing property business Detail.

Sunil Johal joins from Argent, where he led the delivery of infrastructure works and One Chamberlain Square – part of Argent’s Paradise Birmingham development – now occupied by PwC, and home to the newly launched Dishoom restaurant.

He joins the business following a succession of major new wins, with Detail set to deliver several schemes including Print Chambers and Metro Lofts in West Bromwich.

Johal said: “This is an exciting time to come on board and the team has ambitious plans for the future. Detail’s end-to-end approach to real estate means that from conception to completion our involvement can add real value to projects, whether that is securing investment, development management or construction.”

Raj Lal, managing director at Detail, said: “Sunil is a leading individual in the West Midlands’ property development sector, with vast knowledge through all stages of the property life cycle. His work at Argent is testament to his experience and the impact he has already had in our region.

“Like the rest of the team, Sunil is committed to the West Midlands and creating value for our community and stakeholders in all the work we do. We are excited to be able to work with Sunil on a range of projects and look forward to a future of exciting growth.”
