Property firm to further develop multi-let industrial estate

Hortons’ Estate Ltd to deliver trio of new industrial units in Uttoxeter
Property firm Hortons’ Estate has been granted planning permission to speculatively develop three new industrial/warehouse units at a multi-let industrial park in Staffordshire.
The company will deliver the new units at Marchington Industrial Estate on Stubby Lane near Uttoxeter.
The new units will range from 5,000 to 7,000 sq ft. Work has started on site, with the units expected to be ready for occupation in spring next year.
Hortons’ acquired Marchington Industrial Estate in 2013. The site offers over 1.3 million sq ft of industrial/warehousing comprising a range of units between 1,000 to 100,000 sq ft.
Richard Walker, commercial surveyor at Hortons’ Estate, said: “Marchington, with its mix of warehouse and industrial units continues to perform well due to its attractive location and the flexible and competitive terms offered. As the estate has been fully let, these new units will provide much needed space for local businesses to expand into.
“Despite challenging market conditions we continue to receive regular enquiries and I’m confident that our ability to work closely with occupiers will ensure that demand for these units is high.”
Avison Young and Rushton Hickman are agents for the scheme.
