Plans submitted for affordable homes near Coventry

Regeneration specialist Vistry Partnerships has submitted plans with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council for 82 homes off Stockley Road in Hawkesbury Village, Coventry.

The proposals would see Vistry Partnerships work with a registered provider to deliver a mixed tenure offering comprising homes for affordable rent and shared ownership.  Vistry Partnerships will also be providing homes for open market sale using the Linden Homes (part of the Vistry Group) brand.

Vistry Partnership’s managing director for East Midlands, Andy Reynolds, said: “As regeneration experts, we are delighted to have secured this site and submitted our proposals to the local authority. Stockley Road forms a key part of our plans just five miles north of Coventry City Centre, and should the project be given the green light, it will help to bring dozens of affordable homes to the area for local people.”

The proposed £16m development, situated close to Hawkesbury Canal Junction, forms part of the wider plans for the area.  The site has already been granted outline planning consent and the new proposals have been developed in line with this existing permission.

A decision on the Stockley Road scheme is expected later this year.
