Edgbaston offices ‘plug and play’ suites open

54 Hagley Road, the landmark office building in Edgbaston, has launched its ‘plug and play’ suites for businesses.

The building is able to provide fully furnished suites for companies to move in and begin work immediately without substantial upfront costs.

Joint agent Richard Williams, from Colliers International, said landlord Aberdeen Standard Investments worked with designers to specify high quality fixtures and fittings, and instant fibre connectivity.

“These modern suites are exceptional and a welcome addition to 54 Hagley Road,” he said.

“These are beautiful working spaces, with residential-style furniture and softer, energy-efficient lighting. As well as areas where teams can collaborate, there are also quiet zones for focused work.

“Because flexible terms are available, the suites are ideally suited for smaller or start-up companies that want to move quickly and get on with building their business from one of the best Grade A office spaces in the area.”

The launch of the suites comes just weeks after a £3m refurbishment was completed, which transformed the entire ground floor, with new amenities including break-out spaces, large reception area, open-plan cafe/business lounge, meetings and conference rooms, fitness studio with locker and shower facilities and bicycle stores.

Cameron Mackay, senior asset manager at Aberdeen Standard Investments, said: “Since taking over 54 Hagley Road just over two years ago, we’ve been committed to the long-term success of the building and have actively invested in it to upgrade it for 21st century businesses. The ‘plug and play’ suites provide yet another option at 54 Hagley Road for businesses.”
