TSB to upgrade branch in Birmingham Great Barr

TSB will deliver a major upgrade to its branch in Birmingham Great Barr under plans to transform how the bank serves its customers in the city.

The bank said it will be designed to meet the changing needs of high street customers, offering a more open and flexible layout.

New technology including tablets aim to make it easier for branch staff to talk to customers.

Work on the branch is due to get underway on 15 October and is expected to be complete in late November. The branch will continue to operate as normal with no change to opening hours.

Director, branch banking, Carol Anderson, said: “There have been significant changes in the way customers do their banking, and we are responding to that by creating a very different type of branch. This new layout will help support our customers and give them money confidence because we can interact with them better.”
