Vehicle hire firm moves to new base

A Shropshire vehicle hire firm has moved to a new Telford base to house its expanding fleet of cars and vans.

After five years of running its car and van rental service from a base in Halesfield, Bayfield Vehicle Hire, which also has a base in Shrewsbury, has made the move across Telford to Ketley Business Park.

Jason King, managing director, said demand for their services had soared over the past couple of years, and a bigger base was needed to house the firm’s expanding fleet of vehicles.

He said: “Since 2016 we have met and worked with hundreds of individuals and businesses from across the UK who were looking for car and van hire, and following the COVID-19 pandemic we, and many other vehicle hire firms, have increased our fleet to meet demand.

“Now, if anyone is looking to hire a van or car in Telford we very much look forward to seeing them at our new home in Ketley Business Park.

“We simply outgrew our previous base in Halesfield and decided to move to this new base in Ketley for two main reasons.

“Firstly, Ketley Business Park is a central location and easily accessible for our customers, who come from all areas of Telford, including Newport and Shifnal.

“Secondly, we have a lot more room for our growing fleet of vehicles – now numbering 230 vehicles available to motorists across Shropshire.”

King added: “Demand for hire vehicles has risen significantly in recent years as people realise the benefits of hiring rather than owning a car or van and as the staycation in the UK has become more and more popular.

“All of our vehicles are under 12 months old so our customers can be assured they are reliable and in excellent condition.

“There’s never any deposit to pay and we are open seven days a week to allow for easy pick up and drop off.

“We are very excited to have moved our Telford base to Ketley Business Park after five years in Halesfield, and look forward to welcoming customers old and new.”
