Consulting engineers commit long-term to the region

Consulting engineers Travis Baker have expanded into a new larger office with a 10-year lease.

Committing its long-term future to the area, the company has moved into a 6,383 sq ft space at Trinity Point, Halesowen with landlords Key Land Capital.

Rob Travis, director of Travis Baker, said: “The new larger office represents a significant step in expanding all teams across the civil, structural and geo-environmental disciplines.”

Trinity Point has received £1.2m worth of investment from Birmingham-based investor and developer Key Land Capital, on a rolling refurbishment programme since it was acquired in 2018, with further investments to be made.

Kevin Sharkey, managing director at Key Land Capital, said: “The fantastic new facilities at Trinity Point are helping businesses grow, collaborate, and create jobs for people in the area as companies recover and adapt to the new working environment.”

Key Land Capital is delivering residential projects worth more than £40 million across the West Midlands with the aim of providing affordable, luxury and modem housing to a range of residents whilst creating solid returns for investors. It says its mission is to provide affordable, luxury and modern housing to students and professionals, whilst maintaining solid returns for investors.

The space will be refurbished before the company moves in in Q1 2022.
