Marketing agency to offer 100 work experience placements

Marketing agency Plinkfizz is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year by opening up its offices to 100 work placement students.

Historically, Plinkfizz has worked with local schools and universities, offering work placements, which have regularly resulted in the company offering graduate roles to students.

Plinkfizz MD Fiona Hawkins said: “We wanted to do something impactful for our 18th birthday and what better than giving opportunities to local students.

“Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire are increasingly becoming a hive of activity in the digital sector and so we want to nurture that talent, help it grow and keep it local.”

She added: “Many graduates look to the big cities for jobs which is a shame as there are so many fantastic companies around Stoke-on-Trent and we want to show them that.

“We have a fantastic, supportive team that have a lot of skills between them and that work with local, regional, national and international brands. They’re all eager to share their experience and knowledge with the next generation of marketers which are right on our doorstep.”
