Coffee company to open fourth venue

Birmingham-based Yorks Café and Coffee Roasters is marking its 10th year anniversary by opening a fourth venue and its second in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Yorks is opening at Bell Court on the day it launched its first Birmingham café in 2012, on August 10.

The new premises will be bringing around 30 new jobs to Stratford-Upon-Avon.

This will be the second Yorks Café and Coffee Roasters to be opened in Stratford and the fourth overall, with the other two being situated in Birmingham.

Owner Simon Ford said: “We are really pleased to be opening a further Yorks in Stratford as we continue to build a bold, but responsible café & restaurant business, never diluting our soul or personality and having a lasting impact on the people we touch and the environments in which we live.

“Each café aims to celebrate the diversity of our customers, and this is reflected in our global food and the empathetically designed cafes. When we found this new location, we were inspired to take our café culture to the next level and introduce all-day dining – and we really hope our customers enjoy it.”

As part of its expansion plans, Yorks is also opening a café in Paradise Birmingham, opposite Dishoom, in the autumn of 2022, creating around 50 jobs.
