Building society launches recruitment drive

Coventry Building Society, one of the city’s largest employers, is creating 20 customer service roles at its head office building in Binley.
The society says it has seen rapidly growing demand from its members for customer service over the phone and, after investing in a new customer contact centre this year, is expanding its team.
The mutual is also recruiting 10 apprentices in different parts of the business.
Sam Richards, head of customer service at Coventry Building Society, said: “We’re a growing business with a fantastic reputation for great customer service. More savers and borrowers means we need even more people to join our team and provide a first class service experience to our two million members.
“We’re proud to be a Coventry business and we want local people who love customer service to join us. As well as creating 20 new roles, there are 10 apprenticeships and a number of other vacancies available right now.
