Former owners of Worcester Warriors disqualified from being company directors

The former owners of stricken Worcester Warriors have been disqualified as being directors and fined in court.

Jason Whittingham and Colin Goldring missed a deadline to post a copy of Worcester Sport Limited’s accounts for the year ending February 28 2021 to Companies House on November 30 of last year.

The verdicts were passed down at Cardiff Magistrates Court last week.

Whittingham and Goldring have both been disqualified from being a director, liquidator of administrator of a company, or a receiver or a manager of a companuy’s property or taking part in setting another company up for 12 months, begging from Friday November 4.

On October 6, Goldring and Jason were replaced as directors of MQ Property Co Ltd, owners of Worcester Warriors, by Stuart Maddison as the sole director. Maddison is a former partner of PwC with more than 33 years experience in turnaround and restructuring matters.
