City centre office deal sealed for manufacturing supplier

Freshwater Group has secured an inward investment letting of more than 5,000 sq ft of Grade A office space at 10 Temple Street in Birmingham city centre to automation procurement firm EU Automation.

EU Automation, a leading automation supplier to the manufacturing industry, is adding to its UK presence and making its mark in Birmingham, taking a total of 5,000 sq ft of prime office space on the sixth floor for a term of five years.

Alex Andrews, head of people at EU Automation said: “Adding an additional office in Birmingham’s core is an important part of EU Automation’s expansion plans.

“Moving from an out-of-town location to the city centre will help drive recruitment and build our presence further in the Midlands and the UK. Birmingham’s connectivity, both nationally and internationally, is key to this growth, and 10 Temple Street’s proximity to New Street Station also enables inward investment into the city. The office suite’s natural light and fantastic facilities also contributed to our decision to add an office at 10 Temple Street.”

Karolina Kuszowska, from the West Midlands Growth Company, who helped with the relocation of EU Automation, said: “Birmingham is quickly becoming the city of choice for investment in the UK, and the relocation of EU Automation is another example of how the City’s great connectivity is helping drive this investment further.”

JLL acted jointly with KWB as agents on behalf of 10 Temple Street owners Freshwater Group.
