Country manor acquired by luxury hotel group
Luxury hotelier Exclusive Collection has purchased Ansty Hall, a 62-bedroom hotel in Warwickshire.
This is the seventh country hotel in Exclusive Collection’s portfolio and its first Midlands location.
The 17th century building, which is surrounded by eight acres of grounds was acquired from Macdonald Hotels for an undisclosed sum. It was marketed by commercial agents at Knight Frank.
Danny Pecorelli, managing director at Exclusive Collection said on LinkedIn that the firm plans to bring Ansty Hall into line with its brand values and outlooks as well as introducing its B Corp standards.
He said: “Ansty Hall is a stunning 17th century hotel surrounded by eight acres of grounds and fits well with our focus on exceptional hospitality experiences that help people to ‘take a breath from the everyday’.
“We celebrate the fact that not one of our hotels are the same and their histories cannot be replicated.
“We’re privileged to have a role in preserving their estates and stories while also looking forward to the future by creating new legacies and lasting memories for guests, members and the teams that support the success of each property”.
