New headquarters secured by energy firm

A new headquarters has been purchased by energy storage company GivEnergy in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Beswicks’ commercial property team advised the energy firm on its relocation and expansion, including the purchase of Osprey House in Brymbo Road.

The three-storey, 9,967 sq ft building will be home to GivEnergy’s office-based staff with 60 moving into the premises in spring and an additional 40 jobs being created by the end of the year.

This is the third purchase that Beswicks Legal has supported in the last year for GivEnergy.

GivEnergy CEO Jason Howlett said: “Our new HQ represents not only another leap forward in our growth journey, but also acts as a flagship for our commitment to building a sustainable future.

“The new premises will be 100% powered by renewable energy, using a full solar array, a sophisticated GivEnergy commercial battery storage system, and a network of GivEnergy EV chargers.

“So, even as we create jobs and scale up our operations, we will be championing environmental responsibility all the way.”
