Refurb of two industrial estates completed

Sandyford Properties has completed the refurbishment of two industrial estates in Stoke-on-Trent.

Joiners Square Industrial Estate in Hanley has been upgraded with all units getting new doors, windows and roller shutters.

One unit of 1,290 sq ft has been let to Devon-based Centristic, which designs, fabricates and installs bulk materials handling equipment throughout the UK, on a five-year lease. Another two units are available to let.

Newstead Trade Park in Trentham, which forms part of the Newstead Industrial Estate, has been modernised in two phases over a two-year period.

The 10 units, totalling 44,220 sq ft, have been refurbished with new cladding, roofing, roller shutter and pedestrian windows and doors.

Most of the long-standing occupiers, such as Goodwin and Neida Products, have renewed their leases, while Turner ECS has taken a newly refurbished unit of 3,185 sq ft on a five-year lease.

Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “The completion of these two refurbishment projects emphasises our ongoing commitment to upgrading our portfolio.”
