Plans revealed for 33-storey Broad Street tower

How the scheme would look

Plans have been revealed for a 33-storey residential tower on Broad Street in Birmingham city centre.

Urban Vision’s scheme will include 294 build-to-rent flats on the site, which has a chequered planning history.

Plans to build a 61-storey scheme at the 100 Broad Street site were approved back in 2019, but the scheme was subsequently deemed unviable under its previous owner.

The new plans include communal rooftop gardens, lounges, a gym and yoga studio and a 338-space bike hub.

There will also be space for shops, cafes and restaurants at the ground floor level.

The development is being designed by Howells Architects.
