Birmingham office space reopens as flexible workplace

Louisa Ryland House, an office building in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, has reopened as a flexible workspace after undergoing a refurbishment led by RE-DEFINED, a MAPP company.
With a capacity ranging from plug-and-play options for smaller needs to accommodating larger enterprises of up to approximately 100 people, the building offers flexible agreements.
The revamped space at Louisa Ryland House spans 35,000 sq ft, providing enterprise suites, meeting rooms, kitchen pantries, and breakout spaces. The third floor offers open space for hot desking on a membership basis.
The building features a 2,500 sq ft coffee bar and business lounge. Collaboration spaces on the lower ground floor include a 60-seater conference space, a 16-seater training room, and a 120-capacity lounge.
Damon Morris, general manager at RE-DEFINED, said: “This is the first workspace delivered by RE-DEFINED since becoming a MAPP company and we are delighted with the result. Louise Ryland House combines our flex-focused technology and management capability with MAPP’s renowned community-building and sustainability credentials. The result is a new, highly differentiated workspace for the Birmingham office market.
“It’s great to be able to offer occupiers an opportunity to immediately enhance their brand through their location choice. This is one of only a handful of venues in Birmingham that is capable of hosting events at this scale.”
Occupants include brand agency L-E-A-P, placemaking company Places for People, and corporate advisory and investment firm Debrett’s.
