LGT Wealth Management is expanding its presence with the opening of its first office in Manchester and relocating its Birmingham office to new premises.

In Birmingham, the wealth management firm is moving to new offices in 103 Colmore Row on March 18 to accommodate its growing local presence. It comes after its team was bolstered by the acquisition of abrdn Capital acquisition as well as the addition of recent hire Tom Stone, who brings 12 years of experience from Quilter Cheviot.

The Manchester office is set to open in March 2024, welcoming Mike Stirrup and Matthew Stevenson to the team.

Stirrup, previously with Artorius Wealth and UBS, joins as a wealth planner, whilst Stevenson, from Evelyn Partners, comes aboard as a trainee investment manager.

Ben Snee, CEO of LGT Wealth Management, said: “We benefit from forward-thinking private ownership that enables us to invest in the business continuously. The growth of our regional footprint with these two new offices in Manchester and Birmingham further highlights our dedication to bringing exceptional service to our clients and partners around the UK.

“These cities have always been important to us and we will further develop our strengths in these regions with new talent and fresh perspectives that match our entrepreneurial ethos and dedication to client service.”
