Pasture opens largest restaurant yet in Birmingham

The Pasture Restaurant Group has announced the opening of its new 7,000 sq ft steak restaurant and bar in Birmingham.

The restaurant, which opened on May 27, features an open kitchen and DJs playing house music on weekends, fulfilling their ‘Fire, Meat, Music’ motto.

Sam Elliott, the 36-year-old chef and owner, leads Pasture’s expansion.

He opened the first Pasture in Bristol in 2018 and has since added more locations in Bristol and Cardiff.

Later in 2024, he plans to open Prime by Pasture, a butchery, deli, cookery school, and burger joint in Bristol’s Redcliffe Quarter.

The Birmingham location is on one floor of the old Barclays Bank building at Fifteen Colmore Row and is their biggest restaurant yet, with seating for 45 at the bar and 180 in the main dining area.

Elliott said: We’re thrilled to be opening the doors to Pasture Birmingham – our biggest restaurant to date. The team has put in an immense effort to get us here and I couldn’t be prouder. Bookings have been brilliant, we’re looking forward to a packed opening week, and we can’t wait to welcome the people of Birmingham to experience what Pasture is all about.”
