Civil engineering supergroup formed to shake up market
Four major civil engineering firms have joined to form Civitec Group, a European supergroup looking to make a stamp with sustainable infrastructure.
Lichfield-based Wrekin Products alongside Product Industriels Lorrains (P.I.L), Fonderies de Saint Dizier (FSD), Geoworks and Encotel, say through a united force, there’s a significant opportunity to bring sustainable and resilient infrastructure to market.
The group saw a combined turnover of €115m in 2023, and its portfolio includes projects in transportation, water management, environmental engineering and urban development. From supporting the design of smart cities to mitigating climate change impacts – the group’s work is shaping the future of civil engineering.
