Large industrial building split into five units and sold separately

A large industrial building, formerly a Squirrel Storage site on a main road into Birmingham, has been divided and sold as five separate warehouses.
The original property at 875-901 Tyburn Road, which spanned 50,534 sq ft on approximately 1.1 acres, was acquired by Siddall Jones on behalf of Sutton Carter Property Group in an off-market purchase last year.
Ryan Lynch, director of Siddall Jones, said: “We had strong interest in the original site but knew the market was strong enough to maximise returns on the property by splitting it into five separate warehouses. We felt this would capitalise on the demand from owner-occupiers looking for mid-sized industrial units. We were blown away by the interest and now have all five units firmly under offer”
