E-commerce firm snaps up 345,000 sq ft logistics unit
A 345,000 sq ft warehouse unit at Stone Business Park in Staffordshire has been let to a global e-commerce fulfillment provider.
PLP has leased the newly developed logistics unit to CIRRO Fulfillment, operating as Super Smart Service.
The firm has secured a 15-year lease on the facility, which includes 20,000 sq ft of office space and an internal clear height of 18 meters.
The warehouse boasts sustainability credentials, with EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings, and meets carbon neutral and net zero carbon standards as defined by the UK Green Building Council.
PLP Stafford was purchased in 2022 by PLP’s second investment vehicle (UKLV 2), which includes Ivanhoé Cambridge, The Peel Group, Greater Manchester Pension Fund, and PLP as major investors.
Keith Wilson, development director at PLP, said: “We are delighted to welcome CIRRO Fulfillment to PLP Stafford, a ‘best-in-class’ facility in an exceptionally strong location. Securing such a successful and dynamic occupier on a long-term lease here is a huge endorsement of PLP’s specification, design and ESG credentials.”
Charles Lu, head of business development at CIRRO Fulfillment Europe, added: “We are thrilled to complete the lease with PLP so promptly following the recent opening of a brand new facility in Staffordshire in early July. This state-of-the-art facility is an excellent addition as we gear up for the peak season, enhancing our capabilities to serve our customers better and more sustainably.”
