Staffordshire-based Goodfish Group, a plastic injection moulding service, has acquired Schneider Electric’s UK extrusion and assembly business in Flint, North Wales.

Once completed, the business will operate as Goodfish (Flint), alongside its other manufacturing businesses in St Asaph, Cannock and Worcester.

The acquisition will expand Goodfish’s operations, increasing its manufacturing footprint to 300,000 sq ft across four sites and boosting employee numbers to 163.

Goodfish will take over the production and supply of cable management products previously managed by Schneider Electric in the UK market.

The products will now be marketed and distributed through a new entity, Cutterwell & Co, which has no connection to Schneider Electric.

Projected sales are expected to reach £25-30m by 2025 across sectors like construction, automotive, medical, and aerospace.
