Housebuilder to deliver 1,200 homes across the West Midlands
A national housebuilder has reached a new milestone, enabling the construction of an additional 1,200 homes across the West Midlands.
Persimmon Homes, which operates from regional offices in Telford, Birmingham, Studley, and the North Midlands, has secured planning approval for sites in Lichfield, Kenilworth, Redditch, Sandwell, and Burton on Trent over the past six months.
The company has recently acquired land for new developments in Dunchurch and Bedworth, with another acquisition in Wednesbury expected later this month.
Stephen Cleveley, regional chairman for Persimmon Homes, said: “The West Midlands is of vital importance to our company. We see lots of opportunities to deliver quality homes in the area and ultimately support the Government’s target of building 1.5 million new homes over the next five years. Our relationships with Local Authorities and Registered Housing Providers are key to this success and we value the engagement we have with these organisations. We’re excited to begin work on these sites and to deliver quality homes to the people of the West Midlands.”
