Craft brewer launches second site in the Jewellery Quarter

The Indian Brewery opened its second site in the Jewellery Quarter this weekend.
A new brewery and taproom opened in St Paul’s Square, with space to cater to up to 300 people. The space features an extensive number of beer taps, a games area and a theatre kitchen with live sports on the big screen.
30 jobs were set to be created at the new venue, which is separate from its existing Indian Brewery Snowhill location, known for its modern Indian street food.
The taproom showcases 26 taps of both Indian Brewery beers as well as collaboration brews and a selection of natural, organic, and low-intervention wines. In addition to signature cocktails, patrons can explore low/no-alcohol beverages.
When plans were announced, Jaspal Purewal, CEO of The Indian Brewery said: “Our expansion into the Jewellery Quarter marks a significant milestone for The Indian Brewery.
“We are excited to be part of such a historic and vibrant community, and we look forward to contributing to the city centre’s cultural and culinary tapestry for many years to come. In addition, we will be increasing employment within the local area, and we anticipate on creating up to 30 new jobs.”
