Housing agency set to transform Council’s former HQ site

Changes are on the horizon for Warwick District Council’s former headquarters at Riverside House as the site and surrounding land will officially be handed over to Homes England on April 1, 2025.
The new owners are ready to kick off plans on a new development, with up to 74 new homes set to be built on the Milverton Hill site.
It follows outline planning permission granted by Warwick District Council in February.
Alongside the new homes, Homes England will also be expanding Elizabeth Park into a larger public space along the riverside, including the relocation of the Edmondscote Athletics track.
Before the transfer, Homes England will start some minor vegetation clearance on-site ahead of the bird nesting season.
