A DVD and video production company has relocated to Coventry University’s Technology Park to add impetus to its flourishing operation.
Ignite Creative moved into the TechnoCentre in Puma Way, from nearby Earlsdon.
Director Steve Holdsworth said the centre was the perfect location on which to build the business.
“As the business has developed we have been looking for a new home and we believe we have now found it, close to the centre of Coventry and working alongside a host of other innovative companies. We have already found the TechnoCentre to be an inspirational place to do business,” he said.
Since its launch in 2003, Ignite has worked with corporate clients including Yale, Avery Weigh-Tronix and Henley Management College but alongside these it has also worked extensively with the charity sector for the likes of Age Concern, Adoption UK and the RNIB, plus a host of smaller groups.
The company is quite open about its social enterprise ethos and when prospective clients visit the firm’s website this is clearly laid out.
“We think it’s important to be completely transparent about how we plan to work on a project and we believe this has helped us to win new business and encourage repeat business,” said Mr Holdsworth.
“We work hard to find the right solution for our clients in the belief that whether they are a multinational business or a small charity they deserve a high quality production at a price that makes sense for their budget.”
The move to the TechnoCentre is just one aspect of the firm’s business plan for 2010. Other projects will see Ignite working once again with the Nationwide Christian Trust on a number of projects, including an interactive Bible DVD quiz.
