Heavenly new home for accountants and lettings news

BLOOMER Heaven, one of the oldest firms of independent chartered accountants in Birmingham, is relocating to Rutland House in the city centre.

The move comes after 22 years in Lionel Street in the city’s Jewellery Quarter.

The practice, a member of the Macintyre Hudson Association of independent accountants and chartered accountants, is taking 5,750 sq ft over to years at the building in Edmund Street for an undisclosed rent.

Bloomer is sub-letting space already leased by law firm Squires Sanders Hammonds and was advised by Birmingham-based GBR Phoenix Beard.

Rutland House is owned by Aviva Investors which was advised by the Birmingham office of DTZ.

In other lettings news, Contemporary Garden Rooms has taken a three-year lease on 1,784 sq ft of industrial space at Audley Avenue Enterprise Park, in Newport, for an undisclosed rent.

The company creates individually designed outdoor rooms for homeowners and recently secured a contract with Microsoft.

The estate is owned by Birmingham-based St. Modwen Properties which was represented by the Telford office of Bulleys Chartered Surveyors.
