Wine cellar maker uncorks new chapter with management buy-out
A Staffordshire manufacturer of luxury wine storage systems has completed a management buy-out, supported by a £2.3m funding package from Frontier Development Capital.
Spiral Cellars, which employs 35 people at its Cannock headquarters and manufacturing facility, has been acquired by CEO Mark Down and Technical Director Sam Stockdale. The pair have been leading the business since former owners Lucy Hargreaves and Mark Dickens relocated overseas in 2024.
