Endless announces changes to Birmingham operation

TURNAROUND specialist Endless has announced a reorganisation at its Birmingham operation following the departure of director Nick Leitch.
Darren Forshaw, current partner in the firm’s North West office, will now split his time between Manchester and Birmingham, basing himself in the Midlands for two days a week.
However, Mr Forshaw said that with the opportunities currently available in the West Midlands further appointments to the Birmingham operation were likely.
Mr Leitch left the Leeds-based firm earlier this month to pursue other opportunities.
During his time with the firm he was responsible for a number of significant deals, notably the acquisition of Willenhall-based engineering firm Niagara Lasalle (UK) Ltd from its US parent Niagara Corporation in a deal worth £27m.
Mr Forshaw said: “The opportunities in the Midlands are considerable and we are busy identifying good investment opportunities.
“The Niagara deal was one that fitted our core strategy and it is these kinds of opportunities we are continuing to look at.”
Mr Forshaw said Mr Leitch had been the firm’s “face in the market” for the past couple of years and it was keen to maintain that presence.
“We have had some success in the Midlands which is why I will be spending more time there. I shall be basing myself in Birmingham for a couple of days each week as I split my time between the North West and Birmingham,” he added.
He said that if everything went to plan then there would be further appointments in Birmingham, possibly within the next few weeks.
