Shakespeares advises media firm on new shares issue

LAW firm Shakespeares has acted for interactive media and experiential advertising group Tangibal on a new share issue.
The Surrey-based company is aiming to raise money to fund its ongoing international market expansion.
Tangibal Group, which develops interactive digital media networks for use in cinemas and other leisure venues, was formed in 2008 and listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2009.
The company has announced the new share issue as part of a move to raise finance which will allow it to explore fresh market opportunities in the UK, Germany and elsewhere around the world.
As well as advising Tangibal on its new share issue, the Birmingham-based corporate finance team at Shakespeares has helped to compile and produce the company’s prospectus, which has been approved by the Financial Services Authority.
G&D Capital, led by Leo Godsall, also assisted Tangibal in the development and production of the prospectus.
Keith Spedding, corporate finance partner at Shakespeares, said: “This hi-tech company has been going from strength to strength since floating on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and has recently secured additional license agreements with leisure venues in Germany and in the US.
“Having advised Tangibal from its early stages three years ago, it is good to see that the company is now raising funds to enable it to grow further.”
