Deloitte appoints new marketing manager

BUSINESS advisory and accountancy firm Deloitte has appointed Isabel Drabble as its new marketing manager for Birmingham taking over from Helena Randall.

Ms Drabble joins the company after working for three years as an events manager for Birmingham Forward, which represents professional services in the city.

“I’m really looking forward to the new challenges this role will bring,” she said.

“Working at Birmingham Forward was a great learning experience for me but having been there for three years I felt the time was right to try something new.

“Deloitte is a global brand with a major presence in Birmingham and the wider Midlands region and as such the lure of working for such a firm was too great for me to resist.”

Ms Drabble will be handling Deloitte’s marketing, sponsorship, branding and coordinating client events, as well as some internal programmes.

Richard Edwards, a senior partner at Deloitte, said: “I’ve known Isabel for some time, having worked together at Birmingham Forward during my time as chairman.

“Her handling of events and wider marketing knowledge made her the perfect candidate for the role and I believe she will be a real asset to the Midlands marketing team.”

Ms Drabble is a member of Birmingham Future, the networking organisation for young professionals, and also sits on the Birmingham Young Professional of the Year (BYPY) awards organising committee.
